The TinkerTaps Apple iOS app collects no user data of any kind.
What "No Data" Actually Means
TinkerTaps does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, or any contact information
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Usage data, activity logs, or behavioral tracking
- Photos, recordings, or any content created in the app
- Crash data linked to individual users
The app works entirely on-device. Nothing leaves your phone.
Subscriptions
TinkerTaps Premium subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not directly handle, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing is managed by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies and terms of service.
If you subscribe through Amazon, billing is managed by Amazon. We receive notification that a subscription is active — nothing more.
COPPA Compliance
TinkerTaps is designed for use by children under 4 years old, always under parental supervision. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, this is straightforward — there is nothing to collect.

The T-Shirt Feature
Premium subscribers can screenshot their child's drawing from inside TinkerTaps and submit it to our Etsy shop for a custom t-shirt. This process happens entirely outside the app — we do not receive or process images through TinkerTaps itself. Any order placed through our Etsy shop is governed by Etsy's privacy policy and terms of service.
Third-Party Services
TinkerTaps itself contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking libraries. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore — each of which has their own privacy practices governing the distribution platform itself (not the app).
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update the effective date at the top and note the version number. Given that the app collects no data, we don't anticipate significant changes. But if anything changes, we'll be transparent about it.
