Yes — TinkerTaps is free to download on iOS, Android, and Amazon devices. The free version includes two activities so your child can start playing right away with no paywall, no credit card, and no catch.

No. TinkerTaps is 100% ad-free. No banner ads, no video ads, no "age-appropriate" ads — nothing. That decision was made on day one and it will never change. We're not a big tech company optimizing for engagement. We're a family who'd never hand our own kids an app full of ads.

TinkerTaps is designed for babies and toddlers ages 0–4. The activities focus on sensory exploration and hand-eye coordination — skills that are most actively developing in these early years. That said, plenty of 5-year-olds enjoy it too.

TinkerTaps is made by Courtright Collective LLC — a small indie app studio based in Nashville, TN. It was built by a parent who was tired of flashy, overstimulating toddler apps and wanted something better for his own kids. We're a family of four, not a big tech company. That shapes every decision we make.

TinkerTaps includes sensory activities and hand-eye coordination games — things like shape matching, color exploration, nature scenes, and interactive elements designed to engage babies and toddlers without overstimulating them. Every activity is calm, focused, and built around real developmental milestones.

The free version includes 2 activities. Subscribe to TinkerTaps Premium to unlock 5 additional activities for a total of 7, plus access to all future activities as they're added. We're always building more.

The Parental Lock is a built-in feature that keeps your child in the app once you've handed them the phone. No accidental exits, no navigating away, no wiping your device — a real concern any parent who's handed a toddler their phone knows too well. Tap the lock icon to enable it before handing the device over.

TinkerTaps includes gentle, calm audio that complements each activity. You can toggle sound on or off at any time using the sound icon in the app — perfect for waiting rooms, airplanes, or anywhere you need quiet play.

Open TinkerTaps on your device, tap the More Activities button on the home screen, and follow the prompts to subscribe. Subscriptions are processed through Apple or Google — your payment stays with the platform you trust.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). To cancel on iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → TinkerTaps → Cancel. On Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → TinkerTaps → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Tap More Activities on the home screen, then tap Refresh Purchases at the bottom of the screen. This syncs your subscription status. If activities still don't appear, close the app completely and reopen it. Still stuck? Email us at info@courtrightco.com.

Premium subscribers unlock a drawing activity where your child creates their own artwork inside TinkerTaps. Take a screenshot of their masterpiece, then visit our Etsy shop to submit it. We'll put your child's original drawing on a one-of-a-kind t-shirt — something to wear and show off forever.

No. TinkerTaps collects no personal data from children. The app does not require an account, does not track activity, and does not share any information with third parties. Our full privacy policy is available at tinkertaps.courtrightco.com/privacy.html.

Yes. TinkerTaps is designed for use by young children under parental supervision and is fully COPPA compliant. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require children to provide any personal information to use it.
